Written by Wiley Walker and Gene Sullivan in 1940, it's a classic country-western song.   Sullivan wrote the song while drivine from Lubbock, Texas to Okalhoma City, inspired by a brilliant full moon that allowed him to drive without his headlights. This song was a popular standard frequestly performed by Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers throughout the 1940's often appearing on radio broadcasts and in Western films of that era.  It was also covered by Elvis Presley in 1956.

This piece has writing on cover that indicates it was purchased in 1944 (See Photo) - Small tears along top and top right corner. Otherwise good condition. Comes in Plastic Sleeve.
